APTA Utah invites members to join a Virtual Legislative Town Hall to discuss the upcoming Utah legislative session and what it means for physical therapy.
This interactive event will walk through the legislation APTA Utah is pursuing, why these issues matter, how the legislative process works, and where member voices make the biggest impact. Whether you are new to advocacy or have participated before, this town hall is designed to provide clarity, context, and confidence.
What to Expect
We’ll cover the key physical therapy–related legislation on the horizon, explain the “why” behind APTA Utah’s advocacy priorities, and break down the Utah legislative process in a practical, easy-to-understand way. Members will also learn how and when to get involved, what the advocacy timeline looks like, and how to participate in Physical Therapy Day on the Hill.
Why Attend
Advocacy decisions directly affect patient access, reimbursement, and the future of physical therapy in Utah. This town hall will help you understand what’s happening, how decisions are made, and how your voice can make a difference—without requiring prior advocacy experience. Legislators want to hear from their own constituents, having a robust attendance allows us to directly engage with more legislators.
Who Should Attend
This event is open to all APTA Utah members, including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students.
Format
The town hall will be held virtually and will include a live presentation, open discussion, and time for questions.

APTA Utah Day on the Hill

Join APTA Utah for our Day on the Hill, a morning designed to help you understand and engage in the legislative process that shapes physical therapy practice and access across our state.
APTA Utah board will break down how the Utah Legislature works, how recent and past legislation has impacted physical therapy practice, payment, patient access, and what current advocacy efforts APTA Utah is leading. You’ll learn practical ways to get involved - from contacting/meeting legislators and sharing your story, having your patient share their PT journey or supporting ongoing policy initiatives that protect and advance the profession.
This event is ideal for PTs, PTAs, students and champions of Physical Therapy, this is a great opportunity to build your confidence in advocacy, connect with colleagues, and help strengthen the voice of physical therapy in Utah.
NO APTA MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED

The APTA Utah Spring Conference is a premier event that brings together professionals, thought leaders, and industry experts in the field of physical therapy. This conference provides a unique platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and exposure to the latest advancements in our industry.
As a sponsor or exhibitor, you will have the opportunity to showcase your products/services to a targeted audience, engage with key decision-makers, and enhance your brand visibility.

We anticipate approximately 150 in virtual Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants from Utah and surrounding areas to attend.
We will be holding a raffle for those who have received signatures from each vendor booth. We would love to have items directly from the vendors to raffle off. This encourages our attendees to visit your booth and also provides advertising outside of the conference with the items donated. Please let us know if you have something you wish to donate.
Virtual exhibitors receive a 30 second ad that will play on loop during the conference. Your ad will also be shared on all social media platforms and your logo on the homepage of aptautah.org
